Until Jesus Gives Us New Orders...

by Rick Allen on August 16, 2024

Light for the Lost remains focused on the mission to reach every person on Earth with the gospel message in their heart language!

In Mark 16:15 and Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus ends His physical, earthly ministry with a command to preach the Good News to every person. We call it the Great Commission. It’s the reason LFTL exists! It's the reason so many thousands of missionaries have spread throughout the globe and sacrificed so much over the centuries--so that everyone on Earth can meet Jesus.

Your support of LFTL resources missionaries of today to fulfill the Great Commission until such time as Jesus issues a new one (and we don't expect that He will). While other organizations decide to expand, change, or redefine their missional structures due to shifts in current events or culture, LFTL will always remain focused on our
original mandate to keep evangelism (Jesus' great command to us) first.

I'll say it again. Is there a chance LFTL would ever change its mission? Yes. But, only if Jesus gives us new orders.

Until then, LFTL is where you can invest your missions dollars to support world evangelism. Always!

This month we launch our annual fundraising push to end the year strong and hopefully fund several high priority evangelism requests from the field.
The "We Still Believe" campaign is all about bringing God's people together to help respond to the highest priority needs for evangelism resource funding around the world.

Some of the biggest priorities are:

Buddhist-Hindu Priority -- evangelism, discipleship, and church planting in Buddhist and Hindu communities worldwide.

"Club Castillo" translation -- translating and printing "Club Castillo" kids books from Spanish into numerous other languages for use in 20+ other nations.

Underground church growth in Muslim world -- providing print and electronic materials for thousands of former Muslims in secret house church to use in personal evangelism.

Church Health in Africa -- providing Acts 2 materials in the most common languages used in Africa so AG churches there can maintain their evangelistic and Pentecostal identities and activities.

These are just a handful of the high priority needs facing us as 2024 comes to a close. "We Still Believe" that evangelism is our #1 priority. If you believe that, too, and want to partner with us, please click here to contribute towards this year-end campaign. Thank you so much for standing with LFTL as we maintain a steadfast and intentional focus on delivering the gospel message to as many people as we can.
