2 Timothy 2:13 (NASB) If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

It's in her nature; she is always there even if I forget. Every morning, she waits patiently. She doesn't bark or whimper. She waits faithfully for me to make my way to the door for our morning walk. Our dog is faithful to our family. She always greets us with a wagging tail, ready to play, and protect us, but she waits patiently for us to make the first move. Even on the days when life gets too busy for "her" time. Today's verse speaks that even though we may be faithless, God remains faithful. Sometimes life gets too busy for us. We get too busy to stop and read His Word or say a simple prayer (unless of course we need something). Yet, God is there waiting patiently for us. He is always faithful no matter what or how much we may forget Him in our lives. It seems weird that a dog could teach me about the faithfulness of God but she has. Like Dee, our dog, God is faithful to wait for us to turn our attention back to Him. I wonder what it will take today to have our hearts turn back to God and go for a walk with Him. He is waiting; are we ready? It's time we make Him first in our life instead of when we become faithful again. He's waiting for you!
