Hebrews 10:35 – “Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.” (NASB)

If I didn't think I would, I wouldn't be trying. Most of you know that I love to fish. To me it is time well spent with a good friend, my dad or anyone willing to go with me. Each time I cast my lure into the water, I have this confidence that I will catch a fish. Sure there are times, in fact many times, that the lure comes back fishless. However, I keep casting it out with confidence that the lunker lure will get a bite. Today's verse speaks to us about not throwing away our confidence which has a great reward. Sometimes things in life will cause us to question our confidence, things that may be out of our control, but we should never give up or give in because one day we will be rewarded for our hard work. God will bless us not because of what we do but because of what His son did for us. If you've found yourself questioning your confidence, ask God to refill you with His and there will be a big catch at the end of your line. Just make a few more casts!
