1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.” (NASB)

Modern technology is amazing. There's really no excuse. While checking one of my social media accounts, I happened to see a missionary friend post about her email letter. So, I sent her my email to stay in touch with how God is using her. No sooner did we begin to share via messenger. We encouraged each other to keep on keeping on, and I thought to myself how amazing it is that I am sharing with someone half‑way around the world. Today's verse speaks of encouraging one another and building each other up. The verse got me thinking that there is no reason why we can't stay connected - to send a quick text, an email, or an instant message to encourage each other in this thing called life. Better yet, the old fashioned pick up the phone and say hello, or an actual real-life visit. No technology is needed for that. Why not encourage someone today? You just may be the answer to prayer they were looking for.
