Daily Devotional for Friday March 30, 2018

Acts 2:46 (ESV) And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,

It was a wonderful evening. Gathering with friends to share a meal was a welcome evening filled with love, laughter, and breaking bread together. Today's verse shares that day-by-day they were together, in the temple and breaking bread in their homes with glad and generous hearts. Each person who came was to bring a dish to pass. The laughter and fun warmed our hearts, and we could not wait till we did it again. Gathering together to share a meal and spend time with friends is something that we must make the time to do for without it we will become isolated from what God intended us to be… family! Whether related by blood or the common bond of Christ's love, we are family. Who's coming to your dinner?

Personal Application: Continue spending time with the Lord daily. Sow righteousness and reap the fruit of God's unfailing love.

Family Devotion: Read this chapter with your family. Ask them if anything spoke to them and discuss. Pray with them.
