Daily Devotional for Friday March 23, 2018

Proverbs 5:21 - For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the Lord, And He watches all his paths (NASB).

Some guys like to hunt or fish alone, but I prefer the company of others as I enjoy the great outdoors. Whether it is with a few men on a hunting trip or just my dad and me drifting along the current, there is a sense of fellowship that makes the day seem a little better. Turkey hunting with a friend, we felt a sense of peace as we walked through the fields. Today’s verse shares that God watches all our paths. What a blessed thought! Enjoying nature, catching the scent of it, makes me think of what it must have been like walking in the Garden of Eden with God by your side. The best part of it is we can experience that today if we are open to His spirit and have a relationship with His Son. Have you caught His scent recently?

Personal Application: Continue spending time with the Lord daily. Sow righteousness and reap the fruit of God's unfailing love.

Family Devotion: Read this chapter with your family. Ask them if anything spoke to them and discuss. Pray with them.
