Daily Devotional for Tuesday March 13, 2018

Leviticus 19:11 (NASB) ‘You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.

I had nothing to do with it, but I came away blessed. While sitting with my eldest daughter at a sporting event, we witnessed a random act of kindness. As the game began to unfold, a gentleman leaned behind him and asked the lady sitting next to us if she had lost a twenty-dollar bill. As she searched, he went on to say that he saw one under the seat in front of her. When she said she did, he gave it to her. Today's verse speaks of not stealing or dealing falsely or lying to each other. The man could have just pocketed the money and said nothing, but he did the right thing. It warmed my heart to see a random act of kindness between two total strangers. If we all tried a simple act of kindness, others who see it happen will come away blessed as well. Something to think about and something to act upon!

Personal Application: Continue spending time with the Lord daily. Sow righteousness and reap the fruit of God's unfailing love.

Family Devotion: Read this chapter with your family. Ask them if anything spoke to them and discuss. Pray with them.
