Daily Devotional for Monday March 12, 2018

Mark 16:15 (ESV) And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

Sometimes you wonder why, and then it happens. On a recent trip away from home to share God's Word, it happened. A young lady at the church gently lifted her hand up, and then came forward. Today's scripture teaches us to go and proclaim the gospel. There are times after driving for miles, away from my wife and family, that I wonder why. Then you get a moment that you will treasure forever. You get to introduce Jesus to one person and the miles and being away from home don't mean a thing because someone gave their heart to Jesus because you were obedient to what He asked you to do. Don't think for a second that going, no matter where, isn't part of His plan. Someone is waiting for you to share Him. Are you willing to go?

Personal Application: Continue spending time with the Lord daily. Sow righteousness and reap the fruit of God's unfailing love.

Family Devotion: Read this chapter with your family. Ask them if anything spoke to them and discuss. Pray with them.
