Daily Devotional for Saturday March 10, 2018

Scripture:

Psalm 25:4-5 (ESV) Make me to know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

Observation:

We attempted to run electric wire down an outside wall in a customer’s home, and we just couldn't get it to where it needed to be. That's when we grabbed the fish tape. Fish tape is a metal cable that you can push through and then attach the wire to and guide the wire where it needs to be. Today's verse speaks of asking the Lord to teach and lead us in the path of life. We worked on it for over an hour, but once we got the fish tape, the wire went through in minutes. Having something that helps guide our life is just like using fish tape. The best thing to guide us is the Lord. Through His Word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, things will go smoother. Who is guiding your life?

Application:

Personal Application: Continue spending time with the Lord daily. Sow righteousness and reap the fruit of God's unfailing love.

Family Devotion: Read this chapter with your family. Ask them if anything spoke to them and discuss. Pray with them.
