Ezekiel 1:12 (NASB) And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went.
I should have learned the first time. While enjoying a ride on my son-in-law’s property, I had to call for help… again. There is a muddy part of the property, and the first time I rode through it, I got stuck deep in the mud. A few months later, as I turned towards that part of the property, something inside of me said, "Don't go that way! Don’t do it!” Today's verse speaks of going forward and following where the Spirit leads. Of course, I didn't listen to that voice in my head, and I, once again, found myself stuck deep in the mud. In life, we may find ourselves going down the same path over and over and getting stuck not learning from the first time we went through it. If we follow where the Holy Spirit is leading us, we will find our way out. We can't be too afraid to ask for some help in getting out of the trouble either. That means humbling ourselves and admitting we need the help. Who are you calling when you find yourself stuck?
