Zephaniah 3:17 (ESV) “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by his love; He will exult over you with loud singing.”

I couldn't wait. As each mile passed, I knew I was getting closer. On a recent trip, I found myself far from home. My air travel had been canceled due to weather, so I decided to drive. When I arrived home after a few days’ journey away, my wife was there to greet me. Sure, I knew she was home all along but there is nothing like standing in the presence of a loved one, especially when you've been gone so long. Today's verse speaks about God being in our midst. God is waiting for YOU to come home to Him—right now in prayer and spirit, and in future in your heavenly home. No matter how far away you’ve been or how long, He is waiting. You just need to go home to His Presence. The happiness my wife and I enjoyed as we were reunited was nothing compared to how good it feels to be in the presence of the Lord. So what are you waiting for, go to Him.
