Luke 15:7 (ESV) “Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.”

Today’s verse speaks about the joy in heaven over one man being honest with where he is regarding his sin. Looking back and seeing what God did with our Men’s Ministries group, it reminds me of the truly amazing miracles He performed. As the group got started, the conversations lagged. It took some time for the men to be open and honest but once the relationships began growing, men became honest with some of the sins they were struggling with. To see the transformation in the men over the years makes me want to start more and more groups. Men being honest about failures so they can find victory in Christ unpacks some real spiritual power! And the entire group shares in and celebrates each man’s victories. Are you in a men's small group? Are there men in your life that you can be open and honest with and find the victory God wants for you? If not, join or start such a group today!
