John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (NASB)

The wrapping paper thrown away, the family and friends have gone home, the day has passed... it happens each year after Christmas. The day ends and the celebration is over. However, it doesn't have to end there. The Spirit of the Living God, born on this day, continues long after all is said and done. Today's verse speaks of this Child born so many years ago, but it doesn't end there. God loved us so much that He sent His Son, born of a virgin, to offer us the greatest gift that never ends... eternal life. It is granted to those who believe, to those who seek Him. Many years ago, wise men went searching for this King of Kings, this small child who would lead the world to God's love. Don't let the death of the day keep you from seeking Him. Even though the day has ended, life goes on and will for all eternity, if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. This gift of eternal life is available to each and every one of you. Don't let the Spirit of His birth be for one day, but let it be for a lifetime and an eternity ever after.
