Daily Devotional for Thursday January 18, 2018

Scripture:

Psalm 32:8 (NASB) I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.

Observation:

Do you want to chat? While loading a new program on my computer, the window popped up and asking if I wanted to chat. It was tech support for the program I was trying to load on the computer. As we began to chat and download the program, I felt as if they were right there beside me watching each step and making sure that I was doing it correctly. Today's verse speaks that He will instruct and teach us with His eye upon us. I was reminded, I followed each step of the download, how God does that too. It comes down to choice though. I could try to download the program by myself, or I could use the advice from the chat line. It seemed like a pretty easy decision, and that's how it should be with our walk with Christ. We can try to do it alone and see if it works, or we can follow where He leads by the power of the Holy Spirit. One way definitely has better results. The program downloaded without a hitch. Can you say that about your walk with Christ? Make sure you follow His instructions and learn what He is teaching. Remember, He is always there ready to chat!
