John 11:25 (ESV) Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live,
Everything pointed to the fact that he was dead. The defibrillator unit didn't read a pulse, yet we continued to do CPR hoping and praying. Today's verse speaks that Jesus is the resurrection and the life and though we may die, we shall live. It seems like a contradiction that someone can die and yet live. Although the patient was technically dead, we eventually found a pulse and the defibrillator unit shocked his heart back into rhythm. I was always amazed when it happened, and yet we will all live again when we die from this earth. The only question is where we will spend our next life… with Christ or in the flames of hell? To think that all we need to do is accept Christ as our Lord and Savior to spend eternity with Him. It seems shockingly rather simple to believe in Him, His life, and His resurrection.
Personal Application: Continue spending time with the Lord daily. Sow righteousness and reap the fruit of God's unfailing love.
